Registered Nurse - General Surgery

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Unit Description

Fast-paced, 39-bed unit with all-private rooms
Provides specialized care for patients undergoing general surgery, ENT procedures, and medical overflow
Offers a solid clinical foundation in medical-surgical nursing
Team-oriented and supportive environment suitable for both experienced nurses and new graduates

Work Schedule

3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (nights)
Every third weekend and holiday commitments required
Floating between units required
Medical/Surgical experience required

Required Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Ohio
Ability to provide age- and culturally-specific patient care and education
Strong communication skills with peers, maintaining confidentiality
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and competence
Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a culturally diverse setting

Specialty Experience

General Surgery / Medical-Surgical nursing experience required (no specific years stated)
