Schedule

• 12-hour day/night rotation
• 36 hours per week
• Self-scheduling
• Weekends as needed

Unit Details

• 17 beds total: 14 inpatient, 3 observation
• Adults and peds
• Charge nurse takes an assignment
• 2 nurse aides on days; 1 nurse aide on nights
• No vents on the unit; occasional BiPAP managed primarily by RT
• ICU monitors teles and reads strips; nurses apply tele to patients

Floating

• ED/ICU for 1:1s as needed
• First to float

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS
• PALS

Preferred Qualifications

• Peds preferred but not required

Other Notes

• No clinical involvement
• Navy blue scrubs
• 1 unit-specific orientation shift, or one night and one day orientation if needed
• RTO needed upfront; additional RTO will not be approved
• Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
