Location

• Kingman, Arizona

Contract Length

• 16 weeks

Schedule

• Days, 4x10s with Wednesday off
• 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Current Arizona Physical Therapy license
• BLS and AED certification through the American Heart Association
• Graduate of an APTA-approved four-year bachelor’s degree program, or foreign equivalent
• Recent experience working with an adult and geriatric population

Preferences

• Experience serving people with physical disabilities is desirable

Role Overview

• Provide physical therapy evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, documentation, and patient/family education in an interdisciplinary setting
• Support patient safety, professional standards, and regulatory compliance
• May assist with staff orientation, student programs, staff meetings, client relations, marketing activities, and continuing education

Work Requirements

• Ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, crouch, and communicate while providing therapy

Assignment Notes

• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
• Up to one shift may be called off or canceled per two weeks
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
• If the license is not in hand at application, the tentative start date will be set 4 weeks out to allow time for licensing
