Speech Language Pathologist

Location

Jamestown, North Dakota

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Day shift
Works alone as the only SLP on staff

Setting

Covers mostly outpatient care, with occasional inpatient coverage as needed and rare home health coverage as needed
Serves inpatient, outpatient, and home care patients
25-bed critical access hospital

Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in North Dakota
Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience)
Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
BLS
Perform swallow assessment
Perform video fluoroscopy

Clinical Focus

Assessment and treatment of aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, cognitive/language deficits, traumatic brain injury-related cognitive/language problems, laryngectomy-related voice disorders, cleft palate, fluency disorders, speech and language disorders, and dysphagia

Orientation

8 hours of non-billable orientation
1st week onboarding

Works with PT, OT, and Audiology
