Speech Language Pathologist

Location

  • Jamestown, North Dakota

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Day shift
  • Works alone as the only SLP on staff

Setting

  • Covers mostly outpatient care, with occasional inpatient coverage as needed and rare home health coverage as needed
  • Serves inpatient, outpatient, and home care patients
  • 25-bed critical access hospital

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in North Dakota
  • Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience)
  • Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • Perform swallow assessment
  • Perform video fluoroscopy

Clinical Focus

  • Assessment and treatment of aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, cognitive/language deficits, traumatic brain injury-related cognitive/language problems, laryngectomy-related voice disorders, cleft palate, fluency disorders, speech and language disorders, and dysphagia

Orientation

  • 8 hours of non-billable orientation
  • 1st week onboarding

Team Environment

  • Works with PT, OT, and Audiology
