Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week

Unit: 7NE - Ortho/Telemetry
Total Beds: 22
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
CNA Support: 3 CNAs per shift, ratio 1:7-8
Telemetry monitors present, but RNs are not required to interpret strips
Charge Nurse available 24/7
Respiratory Therapy and equipment (CPAP, BiPAP, High Flow) available as needed
Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
Orientation: 1-2 shifts on the unit, includes nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Possible floating to units 7E, 7W, 10W, 10E

Orthopedic patients primarily with total joint replacements, fractures, and related conditions
Must have experience specifically with total joint replacements (not just fractures)

Current RN license
BLS Certification
Strong orthopedic nursing experience required
COVID-19 vaccination required (2 doses Moderna or Pfizer, or 1 dose J&J)
- Medical or religious exemptions require approval through a formal exemption process

Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time within the system
Driver’s license address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
Previous permanent candidates must have been gone for 2 years before reapplying
Previous travelers must have been gone for 2 years after completing at least 1 full year
Travel teams must be submitted together in one email
Only 2 candidates can be submitted per opening; additional submissions held until a spot opens
Submission must include an unexpired copy of the candidate’s driver’s license
