Holidays worked in perm staff rotation

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse license
BLS certification
ACLS certification
2 years of core experience in the specialty
Level 1 trauma experience
Cerner experience
Must be gone from CommonSpirit for 12 months as perm staff to be considered for a travel assignment
Cannot work another assignment/contract while working for Dignity AZ
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
Must complete onboarding by 1 pm CST on Wednesday before start
Must complete day 1 pass/fail exam
Must complete SIMs Lab pass/fail skills validation

Unit Details

14 beds
Med-surg/telemetry unit with patients who may have a behavioral health component
1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Charge nurse takes patients
Behavioral health techs and security video monitoring support the unit
No vents
Psych MD on unit
SWAT RN available
RT and pharmacy available 24/7

Work Setting / Patient Population

Teaching hospital
May care for confused patients, patients with dementia, and patients with low cognitive ability
Rare physical restraints; chemical restraints may be used
May float to ED psych holds and possibly med-surg floors

Additional Notes

Travelers must have their own vehicle
Assigned parking with shuttle transport to the facility
Navy scrubs
No facial piercings
Natural hair colors only
Men must be clean shaven for fit test
