Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Location

Grand Island, Nebraska

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
36 hours guaranteed per week
One night every other weekend

Job Description

Provide general respiratory care across all care areas including pre- and post-surgical units and Emergency Department
Respond to rapid response and code blue calls
Competent in nebulizer administration and ventilator management
Must possess knowledge and skills to meet the needs of all age groups
Ability to work independently with proper patient assessment and treatment recommendations

Required Qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential via NBRC
5 to 7 years of experience required (highest stated requirement)
Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) preferred
Valid driver’s license required at time of application (used to verify candidate location within 50-mile radius)
Must comply with fingernail policy: artificial nails prohibited in all patient care areas; refusal to remove will result in contract termination

Additional Information

Radius rule: candidates must live within 50 miles and may not be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with a specific health system
