Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift
Location
- Grand Island, Nebraska
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
- 36 hours guaranteed per week
- One night every other weekend
Job Description
- Provide general respiratory care across all care areas including pre- and post-surgical units and Emergency Department
- Respond to rapid response and code blue calls
- Competent in nebulizer administration and ventilator management
- Must possess knowledge and skills to meet the needs of all age groups
- Ability to work independently with proper patient assessment and treatment recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential via NBRC
- 5 to 7 years of experience required (highest stated requirement)
- Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) preferred
- Valid driver’s license required at time of application (used to verify candidate location within 50-mile radius)
- Must comply with fingernail policy: artificial nails prohibited in all patient care areas; refusal to remove will result in contract termination

- Radius rule: candidates must live within 50 miles and may not be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with a specific health system
