Registered Nurse (PACU RN) - Travel Assignment

Location: Sheridan, Wyoming
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (Monday - Friday)
Hours: 8-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 5:00 PM window), approximately 36 hours per week
Call: 7-10 call shifts per month including weekends and holidays, with option to call off 1 shift per week

Job Description

• Provide care as a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse with Phase I PACU skills.
• Minimum 3 years of PACU experience and/or ICU training, with 1-2 years specifically in PACU.
• Work in a mountain town environment with opportunities for outdoor activities.

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) is preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wyoming
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 3 years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience, including experience within the last year
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications

Additional Information

• Schedule includes call shifts on weekends and holidays.
• Option to call off one call shift per week.
