Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient Therapy
Location: Kingman, Arizona
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours: 10 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Job Summary
Provide a full range of Physical Therapy services including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment. Deliver patient-centered care consistent with professional and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Physical Therapy evaluations or screens.
- Develop individualized Plans of Care with functional goals.
- Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Evaluate patient response and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Document patient care progress and ongoing treatment needs accurately and completely.
- Educate patients and families to support goal achievement.
- Maintain a professional image and adhere to attendance policies.
- Follow all applicable policies, rules, and regulations from the Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy and Medicare.
- Assist with orientation of new staff and support Physical Therapy student programs.
- Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, client relations, and marketing activities.
- Ensure billing is completed accurately and justified by documentation.
- Meet department standards for productivity and patient satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Arizona
- Physical Therapist with 2 years of experience
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- AED certification
- Experience working with geriatric patients
- Experience working with adult patients
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience serving people with physical disabilities.
Work Requirements
- Ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, crouch, and communicate effectively to provide therapeutic interventions.
Additional Information
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
- Up to one shift may be canceled every two weeks.
- 12 hours of non-billable orientation; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation.
- If license is not in hand at application, start date will be set approximately 4 weeks out to allow for licensing processing. Early compliance may allow an earlier start date.
- Typical days off are Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

Always floating, no home unit. Schedule can get crazy, don't know your unit until shift start usually. Would be rough for a 1st contract.
