Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient Therapy

Location: Kingman, Arizona
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours: 10 hours/day, 40 hours/week

Job Summary

Provide a full range of Physical Therapy services including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment. Deliver patient-centered care consistent with professional and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Physical Therapy evaluations or screens.
• Develop individualized Plans of Care with functional goals.
• Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Evaluate patient response and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Document patient care progress and ongoing treatment needs accurately and completely.
• Educate patients and families to support goal achievement.
• Maintain a professional image and adhere to attendance policies.
• Follow all applicable policies, rules, and regulations from the Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy and Medicare.
• Assist with orientation of new staff and support Physical Therapy student programs.
• Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, client relations, and marketing activities.
• Ensure billing is completed accurately and justified by documentation.
• Meet department standards for productivity and patient satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Arizona
• Physical Therapist with 2 years of experience
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• AED certification
• Experience working with geriatric patients
• Experience working with adult patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience serving people with physical disabilities.

Work Requirements

• Ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, crouch, and communicate effectively to provide therapeutic interventions.

Additional Information

• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
• Up to one shift may be canceled every two weeks.
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation.
• If license is not in hand at application, start date will be set approximately 4 weeks out to allow for licensing processing. Early compliance may allow an earlier start date.
• Typical days off are Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
