Registered Nurse - Pediatric Oncology

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Shift: Night (Friday, Saturday, Sunday + either Monday or Thursday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Weekend block position
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 48


Job Description

  • Provide safe patient care in a pediatric hematology/oncology setting.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and support beyond individual assignments.
  • Utilize Epic electronic medical record system.
  • Scrub color: any color.
  • Facility is nicotine-free; drug screening required.
  • Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions accepted.

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license at time of submission.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric hematology/oncology.
  • Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience preferred but not required if pediatric hem/oncology experience is met.
  • Certifications required: BLS, PALS, APHON Chemotherapy.
  • Licenses must be verifiable via NURSYS report.
  • Must include Return to Work (RTO) documentation at time of submission.

Additional Information

  • Immediate start only.
  • Facility requires flu shot without exception (no medical or religious exemptions).
