Unit Information

Unit: 4 East PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
Number of Beds: 16
Number of Staff: 5
Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 floor nurses, 2 techs
- Night Shift: Same as day shift
Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 4 patients
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills and Experience

Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty (RN)
Required Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Required Skills:
- ACLS certification
- PCU experience
Preferred Skills: None specified

Work Environment

Floating Areas: Medical-Surgical and PCU units
Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
Unit Policies:
- Must call in before 5 am or 5 pm if unable to work
- Schedule includes 4 shifts per week
Weekends and On-Call: 4 shifts per schedule (weekends/on-call details not specified)
