Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)

Job Description

Provide nursing care in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units.
Work every other week (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH).

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

Valid RN license in Iowa.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year.
Neurology nursing experience.
