Job Opportunity: Endoscopy RN

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, Dayshift (7:15 AM - 3:45 PM)
• Unit Description:

  • Endoscopy unit with 7 procedure rooms (4 MAC, 3 Conscious Sedation)
  • Holding and recovery rooms included
  • Open weekdays with on-call coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Patient Population: Diverse
• Patient Ratio:

  • 1:1 in procedure rooms
  • 1:2-3 in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Bed Count: 18 PACU bays, 8 procedural rooms
• Daily Volume: 60-70 procedures per day
• EMR System: EPIC
• Floating: Not required
• Shift Rotation: May be required depending on hours; department open 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience as a GI Technician in Endoscopy
• Proficient in Olympus scope set-up, handling, and reprocessing
