Respiratory Therapist (ARRT Required)

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Job Details
- 2 open Registered Respiratory Therapist positions
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- All shifts available, including a combination of day and evening rotations
- Shift start times vary between 7 AM and 11 AM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Respiratory Therapists) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Experience as an Electrophysiology Technician
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- Submission of a recent color badge photo (taken within past 6 months; no selfies, plain background, shoulders up, no eyeglasses)
- Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted
- Fit testing for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no exemptions allowed)
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation completed prior to fit testing
- Documentation of immunity or vaccination for MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
- TB screening: documentation of TB skin test or negative blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
- Physician health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, including county and international residence/travel history for last 7 years
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date
- National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
- Education verification of highest level achieved (HS/AS/BA/MA/advanced degree or certification as required)
- Social Security Number trace for last 7 years of addresses/employment/schooling
- Completion of skills checklist within 1 year of submission
- Submission of resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the relevant skillset
- Candidate submission coversheet required for initial assignment and new facility submissions
- Confirmation of assignment/POI form required for all initial assignments and extensions
Additional Notes
- Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray after the positive test
- Name change documentation required if credential names do not match legal name or profile
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for fit testing
- Fit testing updates can be done at specific locations if assignment is extended beyond original contract
This position is suitable for experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists holding ARRT certification who are comfortable with variable shifts and meeting comprehensive credentialing and compliance requirements.
