RN Hospice

Overview

Inpatient hospice role providing care to adult patients at end of life.
Night shift: 19:00–07:30.
Schedule includes every third weekend and every other holiday.
Hours alternate between 24 hours one week (2x12s) and 36 hours the next week (3x12s), for 60 hours across a two-week period.
Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Hospice (2 years of experience).
Hospice experience within the last year.
Experience with Epic.
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Onboarding / Compliance

License/certification verification.
Influenza vaccine or facility declination.
Education verification.
Drug screen.
Skills checklist.
Pre-orientation CBL acknowledgement.
Epic registration acknowledgement form.
Iowa adult and child abuse requirement.
CPI/MOAB.
