Job Opportunity: RN Medical/Surgical

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Schedule: Every other weekend, no call required
Holiday Commitment: Must work both July 4th and Labor Day

Job Description

Provide nursing care on a medical/surgical unit.
Utilize Cerner OneChart electronic health record system.
Uniform: Ceil blue scrubs required.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

All travelers must start in June.
No call responsibilities.
Optional unit-specific checklist may be required by unit leader within one week of start.
MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training required.
Pre-hire modules and onboarding completed onsite.
