Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Dubuque, Iowa
Employment Type: Temp
Shift: Days
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Overview

Day shift assignment in a cardiac catheterization lab.
Patient volume is about 4 scans/procedures per day.
Scrubs are provided by the hospital.

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Iowa.
Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience).
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year.
One completed travel assignment.
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
ARRT or CCI.
Driver's License.
Proficiency with fluoroscopy.
Proficiency and comfort in peripheral and coronary angiography cases.
Proficiency and comfort in PCI and pacemaker procedures.

Preferred Experience

Experience with Impella.
Experience with Acist Injector, iFR, and IVUS.

Assignment Requirements

Must work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed.
Not open to local candidates within 90 miles.
Not open to first-time travelers; at least 1 prior travel contract completed within the previous 12 months is required.

Additional Notes

Orientation is 16 hours.
EPIC is used in the unit.
