Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Encinitas, California
• 13-week assignment
• Variable day/night schedule
• Start date: September 28 only
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
• CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care experience
• Med Surg experience
• Experience with Epic

Schedule and Availability

• Must work 2 of these 3 holidays, including holiday eves: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s
• Must be available to work weekends with full flexibility
• Maximum of 6 days of requested time off
• Must still work 3 shifts per week
• Mid-shift floating may be required

Assignment Details

• Assigned to the Encinitas NICU
• Will float to other locations as needed within scope
• Floating destinations include Rady Main Campus, Scripps La Jolla, Rancho Springs, Palomar, and Scripps Mercy

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Local candidates are not accepted
• On-call is not required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Guaranteed hours apply after the call-off policy is met
• Epic experience is required
• Mileage reimbursement is available for floating to sister facilities
