Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Winston-Salem, North Carolina
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–07:15
36 hours per week
Local candidates accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of orthopedic experience

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
Charge nurse experience
Level I trauma experience

Schedule and Unit Details

Every other weekend required
Floating may be required to other med-surg units within the facility
Block scheduling may be available
Fast-paced orthopedic and spine-focused unit
Typical patient ratio is 5–6:1, with possible flex to 7:1 in extreme cases

Additional Notes

No RTO after booking
Holiday RTO is not approved
Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved
Must be able to manage orthopedic and spine patients with pain control needs
