Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Winston-Salem, North Carolina
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–07:15
- 36 hours per week
- Local candidates accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of orthopedic experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
- Charge nurse experience
- Level I trauma experience
Schedule and Unit Details
- Every other weekend required
- Floating may be required to other med-surg units within the facility
- Block scheduling may be available
- Fast-paced orthopedic and spine-focused unit
- Typical patient ratio is 5–6:1, with possible flex to 7:1 in extreme cases
Additional Notes
- No RTO after booking
- Holiday RTO is not approved
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved
- Must be able to manage orthopedic and spine patients with pain control needs
