Job Overview

Role: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Weekend Requirement: Up to 5 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs
Call: No on-call requirement
Holiday Requirement: May apply if the contract falls during that period

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

ECMO
CRRT

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis
Ratios vary from 1:1 to 1:3
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application and is subject to unit needs
Managers may approve block scheduling upon request
The unit cares for pediatric patients ages 0–18 with medical, surgical, ICU, and stepdown needs
