Cardiac Stress Testing RN

Job Overview

• Location: Snellville, Georgia
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Weekly hours: 40
• Contract length: 14 weeks
• Patient population: Adults to geriatrics

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Georgia
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Cardiology experience
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• One completed travel assignment
• Must be able to perform exercise stress tests, pharmacological stress tests, and stress echocardiograms

Schedule and Assignment Details

• No weekends
• No call
• Floating may be required within the facility and scope of practice
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off
• Must work assigned major holidays if they fall within the contract period
• First-time travelers are not accepted

Compliance and Onboarding

• Full compliance is required before start
• Background check must be complete before start
• Photo ID required
• Education verification required
• Skills checklist required within 12 months and updated annually
• Work history verification required
• 2 clinical references required
• TB questionnaire required
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 12 months of start
• Drug screen required within 60 days of start
• Physical exam required within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccine or declination required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and Tdap documentation required per onboarding policy

Additional Notes

• Local candidates are accepted
• Epic and Pyxis are used on the unit
• Dark blue scrubs are required
