Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Overland Park, Kansas
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- First-time travelers accepted
- Float pool position; no home unit assigned
- May float between multiple Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU units and to other metro campuses as needed
- Patient ratio: 1:5
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Telemetry experience
- Med Surg experience
- Pending license not accepted
- Must live at least 75 miles from the facility
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
Schedule Requirements
- 8 weekend shifts in each 6-week schedule period
- Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed
- No block scheduling
- No on-call requirement
- No more than 7 days of requested time off
