MS/Tele Float

Role Overview

• Travel/Contract MS TELE Float Pool Traveler needed.
• Will float to multiple MS/Tele and MS units within scope of practice.
• Schedule: 3x12 days, 0700-1930.
• Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage needed.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license
• 2 years of float experience
• Float experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred for RN positions.

Additional Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start.
• Sex offender search required within 90 days of start.
• FACIS Level 3 search required within 2 weeks of start and monthly after start.
• California Medi-Cal search is required only if FACIS III cannot be run monthly.
• Pending background check attestation is not accepted.
• Employment application must include full 7 years of work history with no gaps.
• Work history verification must cover up to 7 years and explain gaps over 30 days.
• Unit-specific skills checklist required.
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start.
• Fit test required within 1 year of start and annually.
• TB screening questionnaire required within 90 days of start and annually.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 90 days of start, with annual renewal for TB testing.
• Drug screen required within 6 months of start.
• Flu vaccination documentation required during flu season.
• Color vision deficiency must be assessed in person before start if applicable.
• Candidate must review and sign facility and employer documents prior to start.
