ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

• Location: Latrobe, Pennsylvania
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Rotating; open to one day-shift RN and one night-shift RN
• Shift length: 12 hours
• Weekly hours: 36

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Required Pre-Start Items

• Government-issued photo ID
• Emergency contact form
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Fingerprinting and Pennsylvania state-required clearances
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
• Negative 15-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or accepted declination during flu season
• Skills checklist
• Pennsylvania child abuse search
• Pennsylvania Department of Human Services fingerprint results

Additional Notes

• Workplace violence prevention training is completed onsite for ER and Behavioral Health units
• Some facility-specific orientation and training documents must be completed before start
