Registered Nurse – LTAC (Travel/Contract)

Location: Hazard, Kentucky
Shift: Night (3 or 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Must have 2+ years of current LTACH experience.
Experience in MS/Telemetry or ICU with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios preferred.
Use of Meditech EMR system.
Every other weekend work required.
Blocked scheduling is not accommodated.
Schedule follows a 36/48 hour rotation over two weeks.
Orientation occurs bi-weekly.
Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum of 2 years of Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience, including experience within the last year
Telemetry experience
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Valid Driver’s License
