Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) - Rochester, NY

EPIC charting experience required
Ability to manage patient ratios from 1:5 to 1:7 on MedSurg

Unit & Patient Population

26-bed MedSurg unit caring for patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, post MI, and cardiac pharmacological interventions
36-bed Hematology/Oncology unit with a developing Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) program
Fast-paced, high acuity unit with patients receiving chemotherapy, recovering counts, or admitted with chemo side effects
Opportunity to cross-train in the Medical ICU (MICU) to better serve the patient population
Cohesive and fun-loving staff environment

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

Government-issued photo ID required
7-year criminal background check (including felony checks) within 3 months of start
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 3 months of start and run monthly
Education verification from primary source required (no hard copy degrees accepted)
Foreign equivalency evaluation required if education obtained internationally
Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
Fit mask test within 1 year, updated annually (specific mask types accepted)
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Required immunizations or proof of immunity: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
Drug screening within 30 days of start
Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination required during flu season
Eye exam (Snellen) within 1 year of start
COVID vaccination copy preferred but not required
