Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Day shift, 2 shifts per week (Saturday and Sunday only)
- Shift hours options:
- 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (12 hours)
- 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM (8 hours)
- Weekly orientation with ASAP start
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Maryland
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS certification
Additional Requirements
- Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years
- Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education and license information
- Criminal background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year; annual TB questionnaire required
- Annual physical exam confirming ability to work without accommodations and free from communicable disease
- N95 fit test within 9 months of start, updated annually (client may complete onsite if needed)
- Required immunizations or proof of immunity:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B (titer, series, or signed declination)
- Tdap vaccine within last 10 years preferred
- Completion of facility-specific orientation modules prior to start
- Photo for badge with specific requirements (clear, centered, no glare, solid background)
Skills & Competencies
- Must pass medication/pharmacology competency exam with 80% or higher within 3 years of start
- Color blindness testing required (online or in-person)
- Competency exam with 80% or higher within 3 years of start
Notes
- Local candidates within 60 miles preferred
- Valid driver's license required if driving on behalf of the employer is an essential job function
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
