Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (5 years of experience)
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• NBSTSA

Role Summary

• Under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technician provides patient care and safety during surgical procedures and technical assistance in the Operating Room
• The role includes preparing the room with the nursing staff, maintaining asepsis and a sterile field, assisting the physician during surgical procedures, handling surgical specimens, documenting required reports and forms, performing CPR as needed, transporting patients to and from the OR, and preparing room and equipment for Endoscopy procedures
