Provide care for patients pre-op, and during Phase I and Phase II recovery in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Requires advanced knowledge of anesthesiology and critical care skills to assess incision sites, monitor body temperature, and track patient stability or complications.
Critical thinking skills are essential.
Experience in critical care and surgical nursing is highly valued.
Equipment used includes Meditech, PCA Pumps, Pyxis, Braun IV Pumps, Cryocuff, SCD's, Bair PAWS Warmers, HP Monitors, and Phillips Monitors.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Hawaii.
Minimum 2 years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience, including experience within the last year.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 2 years of experience as a critical care RN in a hospital setting, including Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience.

Shifts vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours.
May include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
No guarantee of specific hours or shift preference.
On-call shifts required 0-3 times per month (8-hour night shifts and 24-hour weekend/holiday coverage).

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment on Friday.
Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance.
