OB RN (Labor, Delivery, Postpartum)

Machias, Maine

Contract (13 weeks)

Provide holistic, individualized nursing care on the OB unit, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients.
Perform general and unit-specific clinical skills independently.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under charge nurse supervision.
Manage supplies and equipment and promote teamwork with physicians and other hospital personnel.
Adhere to nursing standards, hospital policies on confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and ADA.
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and support organizational mission and values.

Valid RN license in Maine
Minimum 2 years of Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) experience, including experience within the last year
Labor and Delivery experience
Acute Care experience
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certification
