Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Skilled Nursing units. The RN will provide quality patient care by performing treatments and procedures according to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care by performing treatments and procedures as per protocols.
• Observe patients and report any adverse reactions to medication or treatment.
• Administer specified medications within the scope of licensure and state regulations.
• Respond safely and promptly to patient requests and report significant observations to the RN.
• Understand and deliver care according to the patient’s plan of care and established standards.
• Assist in planning and implementing patient care under the direction of the RN.
• Follow hospital and nursing policies; identify and respond to emergency situations appropriately.
• Instruct patients in self-care according to teaching plans and document care provided.

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN License
• CPR Certification
• Experience: No explicit years of experience stated, but must be an experienced RN (implied minimum 1+ years)
• Prior travel experience: Not required
