Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Care - Med-Surg Adult/Tele - Nights

Job Description

Seeking an RN for Med-Surg Acute Care/Observation Unit on the night shift. The unit is experiencing increased patient census due to orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care using specialized knowledge related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Shift:

• 12-hour night shifts
• Weekend rotation
• Must participate in call rotation, taking 1 call shift every 2 weeks as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• At least 3 years of RN Med-Surg experience, including Med-Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• Acute Care experience
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

• Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility
• Housing possibility: furnished studio apartments available nearby (subject to availability)

• Minimum 3 years of RN Med-Surg experience
