Nuclear Medicine Technician

Location: York, Maine
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Split hours between outpatient cardiology office (for nuclear stress testing) and main campus (for general nuclear medicine testing)
  • Perform a variety of general nuclear medicine studies as well as cardiac studies
  • IV insertion
  • Safe handling and storage of radioactive materials
  • Maintain accreditation and radioactive materials license
  • Detailed documentation and excellent communication with cardiologists and radiologists
  • Provide exceptional patient care

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Maine
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
  • BLS Certification
  • CNMT licensure
  • Maintain American College of Radiography Nuclear Medicine Accreditation
  • Maintain State of Maine Radioactive Materials license

Additional Information

  • Accurate timecard submission is required for payment processing
