Nuclear Medicine Technician

Location: York, Maine
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Split hours between outpatient cardiology office (for nuclear stress testing) and main campus (for general nuclear medicine testing)
Perform a variety of general nuclear medicine studies as well as cardiac studies
IV insertion
Safe handling and storage of radioactive materials
Maintain accreditation and radioactive materials license
Detailed documentation and excellent communication with cardiologists and radiologists
Provide exceptional patient care

Required Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Maine
Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
BLS Certification
CNMT licensure
Maintain American College of Radiography Nuclear Medicine Accreditation
Maintain State of Maine Radioactive Materials license

Additional Information

Accurate timecard submission is required for payment processing

No prior travel experience requirement specified.
