Location

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Rotating day/night shifts
• 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend and holidays
• May consider weekend-only or straight night status

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience
• Level 1 trauma experience
• ICU experience
• North Dakota license required, or willing to apply within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• BLS certification through AHA
• CRT via NBRC or RRT via NBRC

Preferred Qualifications

• ER experience
• ACLS through AHA
• PALS through AHA

Work Setting

• Adult respiratory therapy role in a large acute care environment
• May float to other Fargo campuses as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Respiratory therapy assessments and protocols
• Arterial punctures and blood gas analysis
• Ventilator and NIV therapy management
• Medication delivery
• Airway clearance
• Assist with intubations, bedside trach placement, bedside bronchoscopy, tracheostomy changes, decannulation, and extubations
• Emergency response support
• ICU rounds
• Patient intrahospital transport

Additional Notes

• Orientation includes lab orientation with RT education staff and preceptor shifts
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Badge in and out is required
