Shift

Days, 12 hours per day
Typical shift time: 0630-1700

Required Qualifications

Active RN role
BLS certification
Open heart experience and/or endovascular experience
Must be able to scrub to hold the heart and help close the chest
Driver’s license must be submitted

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS certification

Schedule Expectations

One weekday call per week
One weekend call per month, rotating with staff
Holiday call is not required, but preferred if available

Floating

May float to General OR when there are no CVOR cases
May float to PRN General OR
In an extreme need, may float within Zone 1

Orientation

1 week of unit orientation
Must be in state for the orientation week, even if first-day modules are remote

Additional Details

16 suites, including 3 CVOR suites
Average of 30 cases per day
Common cases include open heart, TAVR, open/endovascular, and thoracic cases
Call response time is 30 minutes
Hospital-provided scrubs: light blue
