Location
- Peoria, Illinois
Assignment Details
- 15-week contract
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius
Unit
- MedSurg Acute Care
- 18 beds
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification
- Active IL RN licensure or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- Negative drug screen for all panels
- Last four digits of SSN
- Clinician’s middle initial
- Requested time off
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of hospital experience
- ACLS for Charge RN position
Clinical Expectations
- RN titrates Heparin drips
- Patients may require oxygen up to 6L NC and stable BiPAP/CPAP at night or as needed
- Travel RNs are first to float to other units as needed
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation per policy
- Call is not required
Unit Support
- 24-hour Charge RN coverage
- House supervisor on site 24/7
- Two PCTs per shift
- Remote telemetry monitoring
- Unit clerk coverage 24/7
- RT in house 24/7
- Pharmacy in house 24/7
- Hospitalist/Intensivist in house 24/7
Orientation
- One 12-hour orientation shift with a unit preceptor
Additional Notes
- Any color scrubs allowed; staff provide their own
- No pediatric scrubs please
- Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
- Local rate adjustment applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles
