Required Qualifications

RN license
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
1 year of Ortho & Spine experience
First-time travelers are accepted

Assignment Details

OR unit with 8 suites
Average of 25 cases per day
RN scrubbing is not required
OR techs are used
EMR: CPSI
0600 - 1430, Monday through Friday
1 RN and 1 tech per room
Rep present for implants
2 - 3 day orientation
Will not float

Call

1st call: 16 hours
2nd call: 4 hours
1 weekend every 8 weeks on average
Holidays rotate
Call response time: 30 minutes to 1 hour

Makoplasty total joints: 99% of hips & knees
Stryker and Arthrex for shoulders, ankles, hands, podiatry
ALIFs
ACDF
Arthroscopies
360 fusions (Scoliosis)
