Unit Details

• Patient Ratios: 1:6 or team nursing 1:9
• Staffing: Charge nurse, unit secretary on days, 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
• Equipment: Alaris IV pumps
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling: Every other weekend required
• Floating Policy: May float to other Med Surg units
• Patient Experience Requirements: Hourly purposeful rounds, AIDET communication, mandatory bedside shift report

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
