Job Details

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 (candidate to specify preference)

• Patient Ratio: 1:6 (with support staff including CNAs and LPNs)
• Patient Population: Primarily adults

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is a plus but not required
  • Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC) required
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (MS/Tele)
• Background Checks:

  • Must have Iowa SING background check cleared (criminal and child abuse portions)
  • All background checks (county and state) must be fully cleared prior to start (no instant or statewide searches accepted)
• Drug Testing: 10-panel screening including opiates required
• Immunizations: Titers must be from the last 12 months
• Mandatory Reporter Certification: Child and Adult mandatory reporter certification required
• Start Days: Monday or Tuesday starts allowed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience preferred but not required

• Unit may require floating within a 25-mile radius
• Patient population includes adults across medical-surgical and telemetry services
• Dress code and scrub color details to be provided upon placement
