Location: Lafayette, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Mammography Tech (Breast Center)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend: Optional, one Saturday per month offered
Call Requirements: None

Unit: 2nd Floor, Breast Center
Number of Beds: 225
Patient Type: Outpatient
Patient Ratios: 10 Mammography Techs on day shift
Equipment: Hologic Mammography system
EMR System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Mammography Tech experience (highest required years of experience)
Valid ARRT Mammography (ARRT-Mammo) certification
Valid Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Tech License
Proficient in Screening Mammography procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Hologic Mammography equipment
Skills in Breast Ultrasound (US) or Diagnostic Breast Imaging

Personality & Work Environment

Motivated, proficient technologist who works well in a team environment
Willingness to fill in various shifts if staffing issues arise

Dress Code

Scrubs color: Grey

Additional Notes

No prior travel experience required
No call or weekend mandatory shifts
No float requirements
Candidate may be required to complete education modules prior to the first day
