Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiology

Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit Information

Unit: Cath Lab (IR Radiology)
Location: 1st Floor, Main Building
Beds/Rooms: 4 Procedure Rooms, 6 Holding Rooms
Staff: 16 total (Day shift includes Manager, Supervisor, 15 RNs and CVTs; Night shift is call team)
Patient Ratios: 1:1 during procedures, 3:1 in holding
Equipment: EMR system (Meditech), MacLab

Job Description

Provide nursing care in Interventional Cardiac, Structural Heart, Interventional Neuro, Peripheral Vascular, and IR/Special Procedures
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Participate in 24/7 full call team coverage with two call teams at all times
Dress code: Scrubs provided by hospital

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
Cath Lab experience as an RN, including Cardiac Cath Lab experience
Experience with Interventional Radiology, Cardiac, IR/Neuro, and Radiology procedures
Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with IR/Special Procedures is highly desirable
Energetic, outgoing, and friendly personality fit

Additional Notes

No floating to other areas required
Unit policies and guidelines available upon request
