Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Travel Position

Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Overview

• Level III trauma center with 198 beds
• Provides medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth, cancer, nephrology, pediatric, behavioral health, day surgery, imaging, and lab services
• Trauma cases from levels I, II, and III are flown in
• Equipped with PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory accreditation
• Serves the Four Corners region (NM, AZ, CO, UT)
• Features 2 CT scanners at main campus and 1 at outpatient center
• Uses GE CT scanners (64 slice, 32 slice, 16 slice) and Cerner EHR system

Position Details

• Role: CT / Radiologic Technologist
• Specialty: CT Imaging and general radiography
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, rotating day off with call
• Weekly Hours: 36-40 (including weekends)
• Call Requirements: Yes
• Float Requirements: Yes, to radiology
• Patient Population: All ages

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (R)(CT)
  • BLS (AHA certified)
• Experience:

  • 1-2 years in CT specialty (higher value used)
  • New graduates accepted
  • Must have experience with trauma, biopsies, CT drainage
  • Must have GE CT scanner experience
• Prior travel experience: Not required

• Periodic on-call required
• Competency exam and skills checklist required for submission
• Work environment includes trauma cases and a variety of diagnostic procedures
