Location: Falls Church, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)


Unit Information

  • Unit: Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
  • Number of Beds: 10 (expanding to 20 after temp staff training)
  • Patient Ratio: 1:5
  • Staffing: RN, manager, and mental health clinician; unit secretaries and tech support available
  • Equipment: Computer-based documentation system (Meditech Expanse)
  • Floating Policy: May float if needed or use flex time
  • Dress Code: Business casual

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Psychologist license in Virginia
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Psychologist, including experience within the last year
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training
  • Experience providing clinical services to an outpatient population
  • Experience in discharge planning
  • Mental health experience

Additional Information

  • The unit offers training for CPI and CPR certifications if not already held
