Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Greenwood, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy in a 44-bed acute rehabilitation hospital.
• Focus on patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
• Deliver customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to individual patient needs.
• Work primarily Monday through Friday with occasional weekends (1-2 weekend days per month).
• Typical caseload of 6-7 adult patients daily in an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting.
• Emphasis on teamwork in a fast-paced environment with short patient lengths of stay.
• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to facilitate patient discharge to home.

Schedule & Hours

• Day shift (OT hours typically 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM).
• 36 hours guaranteed per week.
• No call requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Indiana

Patient Population & Common Diagnoses

• Adult patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Common diagnoses include brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, cardiac, and orthopedic conditions.

Additional Information

• Facility is accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation and stroke specialty programs.
• Scrub color: Any color except navy blue.
• Report at 8:00 AM on the first day for orientation; regular hours thereafter.
• Parking available in the main lot; enter through main entrance.
