Location: Albany, New York
Employment Type: Travel
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–8:30 PM; 36 hours per week; no on-call responsibilities
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Overview
The CT Technologist performs computed tomography procedures, assists in patient care and clinical evaluation, and works in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. The role includes scanning trauma, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, research, and specialized CT-guided procedure patients.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in New York
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography
- ARRT
- BLS
- High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Information
- Technologists practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
- Entry-level candidates may have limited or no experience; MIT level is assigned based on skill set and experience
