Description

American Traler eler is hiring a CT Technologist for a overnight shift position requa community hospital, requiring ARRT (R)(CT) certification and NYS IV/Injection Certification.

Details

• Community hospital setting with a Level ED
• Utilizes 3 CT scanners: GE Optima, Siemens Force, and GE Ascend (in the ED)
• Patient volume is approximately 75% ER, 20% inpatient, and 5% outpatient
• Focus on stroke and trauma cases, including brain, abdomen, pelvis, chest, and general trauma imaging from head to foot
• Shift hours are 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other Saturday and Sunday required
• May occasionally be required to perform X-ray if needed

Requirements

• NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• NYS IV/Injection Certification required (candidates with prior experience or willingness to complete an IV certification course and apply for NYDOH BERT certification will be considered)
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Two professional references from a manager or above required, reflecting standard or above-average performance within the past year

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging primarily for stroke and trauma patients across brain, abdomen, pelvis, chest, and general trauma cases
• Must be flexible to assist with X-ray duties as needed
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
• First-time travelers will be considered
