RN - Surgery

Overview

Travel RN role in the OR / Surgical Services unit
1 opening
13-week assignment
Varied shifts
Weekly orientation is on Mondays
40 hours per week
Weekend coverage is every other weekend / as needed
Call is required, one or two times per week in 8-hour increments
Candidates must be willing to accept on-call and off shifts, including 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, 3-11, and weekend daylight shifts
Float requirements: as needed
Unit has 22 beds
Patient ratio is 1:1
Serves all ages
Trauma Level 1

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
CPI/HWC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with robotic surgery
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Charge experience
Level 1 trauma experience

Unit / Clinical Focus

Common cases include Ortho, Gyn, OB, Plastics, General, Cardiovascular, Neuro, Urology, Breast, and Podiatry
