• Shift: 18:30 to 07:00
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: Float as needed
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3
• Unit Beds: 12
• Equipment Used: Ventilators, Arterial lines, Central Venous Lines (CVLs), ICU management equipment
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Cerner

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) experience, with at least some experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Work Environment & Culture

• Patient Population: Neuro and intensive care patients
• Dress Code: Scrubs mandatory; scrub color navy
• Personality Fit: Candidates should be comfortable working in a high-acuity ICU setting with a focus on neuro and surgical patients
