Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Location

Saint Louis, Missouri

Employment Type

Travel assignment

Contract Length

13 weeks

Shift

Night shift (19:00 - 07:00)
Orientation on day shift; must be available full week for orientation
Weekend requirement: every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day)

Work Hours

48 hours per week guaranteed (option for 36 hours available upon request)

Unit Information

Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit (50% Medical, 50% Telemetry adult patients)
Patient ratio approximately 4-6:1
Standard nursing equipment on Telemetry unit
Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC

Job Description

Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adult patients
Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
Function within the scope of nursing practice and applicable state nursing regulations
Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Telemetry nursing experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
